Martin Wilkinson has over 30 years of experience within the Wealth Management industry. About

Personal circumstances change over time and so do economic conditions including tax and legislation. Therefore, Martin believes it is essential to put in place individually tailored financial plans for clients to help them achieve their goals and objectives, not just now but also over the longer term.

Martin spent 28 years working for a high street bank and he rose to become and sustain a highly successful Wealth Management Advisor position with Lloyds TSB Private Banking. As a result of his success, in 2013, Martin was invited to join the prestigious St. James's Place. After careful consideration Martin decided this was a unique opportunity to offer clients a more personal, specialised service to give clients ongoing continuity and trust backed by an outstanding wide range of products, services and Investment strategy using the expertise of highly respected Investment Management Groups.

Martin has found that many people do not have either the time, knowledge or inclination to manage their affairs effectively so in the first instance Martin would review your current circumstances, including financial goals and concerns in order to confirm areas of financial planning in need of attention. Martin’s role is then to recommend and implement solutions as required to meet financial planning objectives and, just as crucially, carry out regular future reviews suited to the individual client’s requirements making sure plans remain up to date. Working in this way Martin builds up long term relationships with clients as their trusted adviser having qualified at the highest level within the profession as a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Insurance/Personal Finance Society.

Away from work, Martin enjoys spending time with his wife Lisa and their boys Ben, Jack and Sam.

Martin and Lisa started “Journey For Josh”, a fund raising campaign to help charities supporting families living with childhood cancer in memory of Ben’s twin brother Josh who sadly lost his 2-year battle with a rare form of Bone Cancer and died in 2017.

When there is time (for a rest!) Martin enjoys badminton, cycling, travel and music.

The value of an investment with St. James's Place will be directly linked to the performance of the funds selected and the value can therefore go down as well as up. You may get back less than the amount invested.
